John has been drawing caricatures professionally for more than 26 years (although he has "doodled" all his life). He began his career in caricaturing at the Contemporary Hotel, Disney World, from 1975 through most of 1977. During that time, he drew nearly 30,000 caricatures of guests of the Magic Kingdom and the hotel.

After leaving Disney World, he traveled to art shows, festivals and fairs to set up his easel to draw. He has settled down in Cape Coral with his family, but continues to do caricatures in Naples and southwest Florida at area hotels, beach and country clubs for a wide range of business parties and conventions (including numerous birthday and private parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, grand openigs, anniversaries, etc.).

He has designed characters for company web pages, created single panel cartoons for newspapers and national trade magazines for convenience stores.
