Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Miami, Florida, Alan has been a standup comedian for over twenty years.

For nine years Alan was a regular at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, CA. During that time he appeared in two Steve Martin Specials, Comedy is Not Pretty, and The Winds of Whoopee.
Alan's credits include regular performances at the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Trump's Castle and Resorts International in Atlantic City. He has also performed numerous times at the Horizon Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe and the Princess Hotel and Casino in the Bahamas.

In addition, Alan has performed with such luminaries as Smokey Robinson, James Brown, Huey Lewis & the News, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons and the Spinners.

Alan's string of national television shows include Showtime Comedy Club Network, Comic Strip Live on Fox, Caroline's Comedy Hour on A&E, America's Funniest People on ABC, Comedy on the Road on A&E, Evening at the Improv on A&E, and COmedy at Club 54 for Canadian Television.
